We strive to publish impactful cancer research with potential to influence future oncology and aim to advance high-quality, clinically relevant cancer research across the broad field of oncology.
Acta Oncologica is owned by the non-for-profit Acta Oncologica Foundation and is the official scientific journal for the Nordic National Oncology Societies and the Nordic Association of Clinical Physics (NACP).
Acta Oncologica provides a forum for the exchange of information on the etiology, prevention, diagnosis and treatment of all cancer types.
The journal welcomes articles in the following emerging areas:
- Cancer epidemiology
- Cancer diagnostics, biomarkers and precision medicine
- Medical oncology, radiotherapy and radiophysics
- Survivorship, rehabilitation, late side effects and palliative care
- Clinical trial protocols (in letter format)
Acta Oncologica publishes original research articles, review articles, letters/brief communications and editorial comments.
