Abstract

Deloitte and Touche concluded from recent research that as firms integrate E-business Internet systems into their existing business models, they need to quickly implement security measures into these systems to remain competitive.¹ Managers, employees, and outside parties such as customers, vendors, and suppliers must be assured that such systems provide accurate and reliable information before they can employ this new information technology (IT) to process critical applications and make important decisions.
