Summary

Using a standard microcytotoxicity technique of tissue typing for HL-A antigens the HL-A27 antigen was identified in 31 of 38 patients (81.6%) with definite or probable Reiter's Disease and found in 34 of 514 (6.6%) controls. In a group of 11 cases of possible Reiter's Disease, 7 had HL-A27 (63.5 %).
