Dr Dallas J Baker teaches and researches in writing, editing and publishing in the School of Arts and Communication at the University of Southern Queensland. Dallas is also a writer with creative work published in a number of journals and anthologies. Under the pen name D. J. McPhee he writes traditional fantasy. His current research interests are memoir and memory, scriptwriting, publishing and ‘self-making’ in cultural practices such as creative writing, reading and popular music consumption.
