The application of computer simulation can be useful for minimizing incompatibilities between workers’ physical capabilities and their job demands towards preventing work-related musculoskeletal injuries. This paper presents a specially prepared interactive CD-ROM tutorial in biomedical education with the application of modern simulation tools (Working Model, Mathcad, Matlab/Simulink). The tutorial is designed to introduce advanced-level biomedical and bioengineering students to some of the novel concepts related to musculoskeletal biomechanics.
