    Stephan Marrin, an Assistant Professor in the Intelligence Studies Department at Mercyhurst College, Erie, Pennsylvania, was previously an analyst with the Central Intelligence Agency and the congressional Government Accounting Office (GAO). Also a doctoral candidate in Political Science at the University of Virginia, he has written many articles on various aspects of Intelligence Studies, including one that let to the creation of the CIA University. In 2004, the National Journal described him as one of the country's top ten experts on intelligence reform. Professor Marrin is a member of the Board of Directors of the International Association for Intelligence Education (IAFIE).
