Abstract

The temperature dependences of the dielectric constant and spontaneous polarization for the ceramic and polycrystalline samples of the mixed system Ba₂NaNb_5(1–x)Ta_5xO₁₅ were investigated over full range of tantalum concentration x. It was found that the Curie point of barium sodium niobate Ba₂NaNb₅O₁₅ lowers from 833K to about 35K on substitution of × from 0 to 1.
